Hello Frisky Friday and hello peeps!
I know it’s been a few weeks since I wrote, but that doesn’t mean it hasn’t been frisky. It has been all kinds of frisky, with some final summer travels and now the first feelings of fall floating in the air. Oh I love all the F~words in that beautiful sentence. 🙂
How are you since I last wrote?
I hope well and if not, maybe I can help! I’ve got something great for you today no matter where you are in life. It’s a groovy mediation called Caliber for Constant Self-Authority. You can find meditation instructions here. https://www.3ho.org/kundalini-

This summer I did a week-long intensive retreat to study Kundalini yoga, both as taught by Yogi Bhajan, and as it originated, the traditional kundalini tantra.
The retreat was all I needed to reset my energy and bring me in alignment with Sat Nam, True Identity. I felt so much calm, ease, clarity, freedom and freeness!
Then I came home, to my regular daily life, which hasn’t always felt so calm or free or like ease.
How did I navigate this transition?
Well, I actually navigated it with more ease than I ever have in a transition such as this. Transitions are fertile ground for growth and expansion, so I took this as an opportunity to go deeper into my practice. I decided to harness the momentum from all I unlocked on my retreat and keep up my spiritual practice.
What do you do daily as a spiritual practice?
It could be anything, from walking the dogs with presence and intention, to enjoying your morning shower with a healthy splash of Self-love. Even doing the dishes can be made into a spiritual practice, as can carting kids around or writing a blog like this. It’s all about how you feel and the energy that fuels your activity.
If my activity isn’t fueled by awareness of my wholeness, love and allowance, I’m learning to stop and recalibrate my energy. Sometimes I realize that activity isn’t right for me in the moment or with recalibration, I begin to embody a fresh energy, which helps me feel different than I previously did doing the activity.
How do I recalibrate my energy?
Well, I’ve gathered lots of tools!
On my retreat, we practiced a great tool, a meditation called Caliber for Constant Self-Authority.
I loved it so much. I decided it’s a tool I wanted to use for 40 days to really crank up the energy and commit to my own calibration and consistent Self-authority.
In this video I share a little more about why and how I use this meditation, including what I’m noticing as I go through my 40 day practice.

Here’s to using our tools so we can grow and live healed, whole, and happy lives from the inside out!
